ON THIS DAY: In 1991, the Persian Gulf War began, with a massive air offensive by U.S. forces against Iraq's capital, Baghdad. It's too soon for the war to have inspired many films, but I can't imagine any film to come topping 1999's THREE KINGS. Chaotic, satirical, and bemused by the singular bizarreness of our first video-game war, director David O.
